All universities and other Institutions approved to offer degrees and other
higher education awards are listed on the registers of the Australian
Qualification Frameworks (AQF). Institutions that are not listed on the AQF
are not recognized. Make sure you get the correct institution, EAEC will guide
you for that.

Identify a course that best suits your academic needs and other goals, such as
course duration, location, budget etc....EAEC expertise will guide you for your
needs.

The academic year commences in early February and finishes in December. The
year is divided into two semesters. All courses offered commence in February
and some have July intake. Please note that this may vary from institution to institution
that being the intakes may commence from three, two or even one intake per year.

Every applicant for a student visa must satsify certain criteria in order to be granted a student visa.
These criteria includes financial ability, English proficiency , academic qualification etc.

International students are full-fee paying students. Fee varies according to the
Institution and course selected.

Some Australian institutions provide partial scholorships for "Outstanding international students".

You can attend a pre-departure seminar arranged by EAEC to familiarize
yourself with studying and living in Australia.

EAEC will arrange you the Airport pickup on your arrival. (Only in
Melbourne, this is free of charge)

There are number of accommodations available, including student
hostels, home stays or rental of an apartment. You can meet our
counsellors to get more information.

There are restaurants which serve at least 80 different world cuisines. In most
of the suburbs there are Sri Lankan restaurants and grocery shops.

There is train, tram and bus service till 1.00 am. 24 hours Taxi service is
available. Night rider bus service is available from midnight till 5.00am.

After commencing classes you become eligible to work.
